Last Friday we finally saw the opening of Paris-based Azzedine Alaïa’s masterpiece creations installed in perfect harmony with those of Galleria Borghese and Canova, Bernini, and Caravaggio alike.
In the presence of the Tunisian designer himself, the inauguration concluded with a gala dinner in the Galleria’s splendid gardens, all set in a summer fresh white decoration and guests literally dressing their parts in white, black, and red tones.
The exhibition is a full hit and very welcome in Rome, where these experimental shows blending the city’s cultural heritage with today’s genius are all but flourishing.
Someone couldn’t keep her fingers off…
Thumbs up! The show, curated by Mark Wilson, will be running until October 25th.
